Early detection campaign continues

By order of the Minister of Health, from May 1, 2022, citizens started to have preventive health examinations and diagnostics. The Head of the Department of Non-Communicable Diseases of the Ministry of Health, G.Gankhuyag clarified whether the event, which will celebrate its two-year anniversary soon, will be continued or stopped.

He said, “Early detection will continue. Citizens can get checked once every two years. This decision was made in accordance with the order of the Minister of Health of October 30, 2023 No. A/379 on the prevention, early detection, examination, analysis, and diagnosis of prevalent infectious and non-infectious diseases based on the age, gender, and health risks of the population. Citizens can have early detection at 19 private, regional and state hospitals.” 

Over 1,300,000 people have undergone early detection nationwide. In other words, 40 percent of the total population have been diagnosed. It was confirmed that nearly 1,028,500 people who were examined were sick. 57.1 percent had diseases of the digestive system, and 13.8 percent had endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases.
