In this way, it is now possible to run a 40-hour basic, intermediate and advanced level training for the assistant conservationists with the right of state inspectors stages of the capital city, district, province, and soum.

In 2023, more than 700 conservationists were surveyed. 90 percent of them said they would like to improve their legal knowledge, 65 percent to learn the methodology of biodiversity monitoring research, 40 percent to learn the proper use of firearms and special personal protective equipment, and 30 percent to identify the animals and plants in the area they are responsible for. 20 percent of them expressed the need to carry out the inspection of the crime scene correctly and clearly, and to increase their ability to communicate with the public in case of detection of crimes and violations. Therefore, based on the study of good international standards and experiences, this program was approved in accordance with the characteristics of Mongolia.

The program will be implemented by the environmental departments of the provinces and capital, and the work to include the necessary expenses in the annual state budget was handed over to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
